home

Since yestreday I am back in Germany.
So it is time for a little resumé.
Today i think i will begin with the first few weeks. Before i went to France my friends made me a gift. They have prepared a beautiful book about my exchange. FANTASTIC!

With it in my bag i could already smoothly head for France, because i had my backup i for sure.
I arrived at the beginning of the october and stayed the first days on the couch of my new flat share. My neighbours were Sam, Fred and Loundja.

I have spend the first days running through the city watching and drawing. There is a lot of impressive stuff there, like the library of comics on the first pic. I had even a lot of time scetching the profs and everybody else during the courses. The woman on the second pic is for example really known in France, but i forgot her name :)
That free time i have used to write huge A3 loveletters to my girl, because i was quite an ass when making my decision to leave Germany. It gave me a nice chance to work on the history of that place and draw draw draw.

Here are some examples of the stuff i drew when having to much time. It was quite fun, because i had nothing to work on and just took my time. Every drawing was somehow a reflection of the coursetheme. These were american underground, animalcomics, mangas and so on.

We also fabricated a lot of collaborationcomics with no sense and mostly with a lot of sex.
They are really shitty but were a lot of fun.

After a month i had to go to the Aix en Provence, were i had a seminar of my schoolarship. It was really fun and i have wrote something about it on my exchangeblog , who dyied young.

My first real discovery was an amazing artist, who is even in France totally unknown.
GUS BOFA
It was really fantastic to wath his artwork. I think tomorrow i will tell you something about that guy, who, in my opinion influenced a lot of french artists of today.

See you !
